Marjaan

Marjaan gave me the most exciting initial first spray – juicy ripe mangoes, passion fruit with clean white musk. None of these aforementioned notes are actually listed as being in this fragrance. In fact, the list of notes is very vague indeed - “floral” isn’t specific and “yellow” could mean anything from cheese to Homer Simpson. It’s described as being “composed of fruity and floral top notes, flowed by yellow and amber notes” yep, I’m still none-the-wiser. I’d definitely go with clean white musk with mango and passion fruit. It reminds me of a fruiter version of Arabian Oud’s ‘Asalat Al Musk.’ I was so excited to smell it on my skin, but the gloriously vibrant “yellow” mango opening sadly didn’t last. The entire scent was gone after a few hours. It’s still worth the exciting first sniff though.
