Bakhoor
‘Bakhoor’ was shockingly sweet to start with, I could have sworn there was vanilla here. Honestly, I hated this at first, but then a miracle happened - a tropical seduction began after I smelt a creamed mango and banana smoothie coming from the smallest amount of oil that I’d applied to my wrist.
This has the greatest sillage and potency of all of the Scent Salim range that I’ve tried. And it’s so reasonably priced at £30 for a 12ml attar for such strength of fragrance. I notice that Scent Salim also do a 50ml ‘Bakhoor’ spray, so I wonder if it’s the same? This is along the lines of Kilian’s ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ and the similarly exotic ‘Vele’ by Tiziana Terenzi but with much better longevity.
‘Bakhoor’ by Scent Salim is the freshly pulped, sweet juice of exotic fruits and I love it. Will it make it to my favourites list? It just might.
