Salim Oud

images.jpg

To me, it’s an underwhelming blend of very tame and musky ouds. I’m used to ouds which blow your socks off with a gigantic barnyard blast. So this is very wearable, musky, sultry and a little earthy. This is probably the most accessible for those not used to Arabian or niche scents – my mum even said that she liked this one the most, so I can see why it’s part of Scent Salim’s classic collection and a top seller. ‘Salim Oud’ is a delicate, musky and subtly sweet oud.

£45 for a 12ml attar.

Notes – Indian Oud, Thailand Oud, Cambodian Oud, Agarwood
